Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

For "Fat Tuesday," I decided to make some Chocolate Chip Cookies.  Plus, Valentine's Day is coming up, and Jeremy loves cookies.   Easy and delicious. No complaints.

Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies (2013 Cookbook Challenge)
from Dairyland Seed 100 Years and Still Cooking
Makes 4 dozen cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (3.5oz) package instant vanilla pudding
2 eggs
2&1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 (12oz) package chocolate chips

Directions:
Combine butter, sugars, vanilla, and pudding mix.  Beat until smooth and creamy.  Beat in eggs.  Combine flour and baking soda and gradually add to the butter mixture.  Stir in chocolate chips.  Drop by heaping teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.  Bake at 375º for about 8 minutes.
